Do Community Surveys from Univox Make Sense?

Univox Community has ceased operations and changed its name. SayMore is the new name of the platform. If you previously had a Univox account, you can still log in with the same credentials. You can click the following link to learn more about SayMore.

You may already be familiar with Univox Community if you’re interested in earning money by completing online surveys.

However, are Univox Community surveys a fraud that is merely a huge time waster or are they worthwhile and a genuine means to get money?

I’ve ersonally evaluated the website extensively, and I’ll tell you about my findings in this Univox Community review.

I’ll give you the lowdown and provide all the information you require so you can make an informed decision about whether to join or avoid the website.

So let’s get going so you can decide if this is something you want to do or not.

Not to be missed: Univox is rebranding!

On December 20, 2023, Univox declared that SayMore would be its new name.

It will alter not just the name but also the appearance and atmosphere.

As you can see from my review below, Univox Community was getting a little dated and wasn’t nearly as fantastic as it used to be, so I was personally hoping for some really great updates.

Not much has changed since my initial test of SayMore, though. My entire SayMore review is available here.

What does Univox Community provide, and what is it?

Since UnivoxCommunity.com was established at the start of 2011, it has been in existence for a considerable amount of time, which is encouraging.

However, in the years that I have tested and used it, the design has not really been updated, so it does appear a little antiquated. But that doesn’t mean it can’t be worthwhile.

And let me just say up front that Univox is a genuine and secure website. I know this because I have been paid by it numerous times, and you will see payment proof at the end of this review.

But we need to look more closely at what it offers in order to determine whether or not this is the perfect option for you.

It is mostly a survey site because that is how most people make money there, but it does have some other possibilities.

To help you decide whether or not it will be worth your time, let’s start by going over all of the options it has and how good each of them is.

First choice: Univox surveys

As previously stated, the primary source of income on Univox Community is paid surveys. Generally speaking, I adore websites that provide paid surveys since, in my view, it’s a fantastic opportunity to both get paid and have your voice heard.

But in my experience, there aren’t always everyday opportunities with Univox. You will, however, have access to a greater number of surveys in certain nations than in others due to variations in this.

For me, I often get access to multiple surveys every day, although as previously said, this varies from nation to nation and can also change according on the day of the week and the season (there are typically fewer surveys available on weekends and holidays).

If you live in a location where Univox offers a lot of surveys, you may surely make some additional money because the surveys pay rather well compared to the time it takes to complete them.

Just keep in mind that you won’t be able to participate in every survey. It can occasionally require persistence to locate the ones you are eligible for.

If you do not want to participate in multiple surveys, you will receive a limited number of points.

While it won’t be much, it will be good to have something to block out, and because hardly many websites provide this, I think it’s an excellent addition.

Option 2: Competitions

Apart from paid surveys, Univox Community frequently hosts competitions. It costs nothing to take part in these.

You must monitor their social media accounts to learn about the contests that are running; occasionally, they are also announced in the website’s forum area.

It is simplest, in my opinion, to keep an eye out for the contests on their social media platforms as I personally find their forum to be very confusing.

For instance, it could be a brief test or a task requiring you to write a little bit more. Or, as the illustration above illustrates, a query concerning Univox that needs to be answered.

Generally speaking, it doesn’t take long to enter the contests, and entry is free. The prizes vary depending on the competition, but they are typically not substantial.

Third option: “Surprise me” competitions

The “surprise me” contest was a different type of competition that was previously held on Univox Community.

A few winners were selected on a regular basis to receive a small additional reward. The winners are purportedly selected based on survey activity, though the rules are not quite clear.

You should be aware that, it appears, this option is no longer available in the majority of nations.

Option 4: Fortune Wheel:

All you have to do to get one free spin on the Wheel of Fortune each day is log in and click a button.

With luck, you might win up to $10 in points.

It’s a rare find, but spinning the wheel just takes a few seconds, so if you’re going to join after reading this review, you should definitely take advantage of this opportunity.

Choice 5: Community

As the name implies, Univox aims to provide more than simply a survey-taking platform—it’s a community.

Having a forum where users could post queries and interact was one of the methods they employed to do this.

Though it appears that this forum is closed, I wanted to bring it up here to explain the origin of the platform’s name and because a lot of people have been asking me where to find this function these days.

In my opinion, the community was never really clear to me and wasn’t a very good option, so I only paid attention to the surveys there. Perhaps the majority of people felt that way, which is why the community forum was taken down.

Option 6: Tell a friend about it:

You can get a small incentive if friends accept your invitation. For every friend who signs up and completes at least one survey or ten attempts, you will receive $1.

Following that, each time a friend completes a survey, you will receive 10 cents. This kind of referral scheme is available on many survey sites, and it might be a good way to earn a little additional money.

I think Univox’s referral scheme is really nice; as long as you recommend individuals that want to be active, you may get some decent rewards. Even if it is not quite as good as the referral scheme on websites like PrizeRebel, it is still worthwhile to encourage others to sign up for Univox if you enjoy the platform.

Option 7: Bonuses for the Wall of Fame

The “wall of fame” is a part on Univox. The most active member of the day and the most active member of the month are shown on these two separate leaderboards.

Your engagement score will increase with each action you take on Univox. Your position on the leaderboard will be decided by your engagement score, so it’s not just about how much money you make.

If you place first on the leaderboard, the prize you receive will vary according on your membership level. Membership comes in four flavors: Basic, Verified, Premium, and Ambassador. Levels are gained by activity.

Depending on your membership level, the daily wall of fame payout ranges from 25 to 200 points, and there is only one winner.

There are twenty winners for the monthly Wall of Fame. The prizes span from 25 to 600 points (details can be found in the figure above). This is a little but welcome bonus if you are an active member.

How is pay at Univox Community determined?

You wll accrue points for each survey that you complete. Generally speaking, you can convert these points into cash and use PayPal, Virtual Visa/Master, Tango cards, or Amazon Gift cards.

The awards that are offered, nevertheless, differ from nation to nation. Not every one of the aforementioned ways will work in every country, and in some, you might be able to obtain gift cards in alternative formats.

However, you can use PayPal to get paid in cash in a lot of nations

The reward choices are therefore rather fantastic, and since PayPal is such a simple way to get paid, I particularly favor websites that provide it.

As a basic member, you will be able to request a payout once you have accrued 2500 points. That is the same as $25. For a survey site, this is actually a fairly high reward level, and I personally would rather it be lower.

However, the compensation threshold is better if you reach the ambassador level, when you can receive payment after earning $10.

You will still receive roughly five points even if you try to complete the survey but are not eligible. Although it is not much—0.05 cents is its equivalent—it is still better than nothing.

You have the option to add some basic personal information to your profile when you sign up. You will receive 200 points as a joining bonus for completing the form, which should take you about ten minutes. That is a respectable welcome bonus for a survey website.

You must remember to apply for account approval before you may eventually request a payout. It might require fifteen days. This can be done via the “redeem points” tab.

Therefore, it is a good idea to apply for permission as soon as possible to avoid having to do so when the time comes to get paid.

Furthermore, be advised that the duration of time it takes for you to get your money following a payment request appears to be somewhat arbitrary. Based on both my personal experience and the comments left by several visitors to my website, it can take a few days or weeks at times.

You should also be informed that if you are not active, your points may expire. The website doesn’t specify how long you must go without using your points before they expire. In order to avoid unexpectedly losing points, I advise anyone using the site to get paid as quickly as possible.

Which membership categories does Univox Community offer?

As I briefly indicated earlier, there are four user tiers in Univox.

As you engage in more activities, you can advance from your initial level as a simple user. Basic, Verified, Premium, and Ambassador are the four tiers.

Determining the specific benefits of each level and the path to the next is a challenging task.

However, I was able to locate the explanation in their help area; in essence, you will eventually rise to a higher level the more active you are.

You instantly join Univox as a Basic member when you first sign up. After three or more redemptions, you become Verified; after five or more, you become Premium; and after ten or more, you become Ambassador.

You will benefit from a shorter payment threshold at higher tiers, faster payment processing, increased survey invitations, and increased contest winning possibilities.

Therefore, obtaining the higher memberships may be worthwhile. However, as previously stated, staying active is all that is required of you in order to advance.

What is your potential income?

The majority of Univox Community surveys take ten to twenty-five minutes. However, occasionally, you can also find surveys that are longer or shorter. Naturally, you will receive a larger prize the longer the survey is.

The number of surveys to which you will have access is mostly dependent upon your place of residence. However, it can surely provide you with some great extra cash on the side if you live in a nation where surveys are regularly given out.

You won’t be able to use it to support yourself full-time, and survey sites aren’t really designed for that kind of thing. However, if you approach it with the correct mindset, you may simultaneously earn some much-needed extra money and make your voice heard.

Use it on a mobile device?

You may take surveys while on the go by downloading the Univox Community app.

Generally speaking, I adore survey websites that are mobile-friendly and offer an app. It is a really useful and effective approach to make money whenever you have a little spare time during the day.

Univox is therefore very simple to use when on the road.

But the app doesn’t provide you any more chances. It merely makes taking surveys on your phone easier; nevertheless, if there aren’t any surveys available on the platform when using a computer, there won’t be any in the app either.

However, if you enjoy using Univox Community and are aware that it offers a sufficient number of surveys in your nation, downloading the app might provide you with quick access to the surveys.

The Univox app is available for both Android and iOS devices, and it can be downloaded from Google Play and the App Store.

To whom is Univox Community open?

Finding out exactly who is eligible to join Univox can be a little complicated. The website’s front page states that you can sign up from any location. However, when you try to join, depending on the nation you live in, you can occasionally encounter a screen stating that they are not currently accepting new members in your country.

This is because they only take a certain number of members, and they open up registrations to additional people when they require more members in a certain nation. However, until you attempt to join, you will never truly know if it is now available in your nation.

However, if they are actively seeking new members in your nation, you can theoretically join from anywhere in the world. And that is constantly changing.

The US, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, UAE, UK, Vietnam, and many other countries are among those where I am aware that they hire rather frequently.

To join, all you need to be is 13 years old, though requirements could differ between nations.

Are you able to receive assistance?

It is usually crucial to have access to assistance for a survey site in case you require it. Regarding the operation of Univox Community assistance, there are a number of divergent views.

While some people have complained about the assistance not responding, others have praised it for being incredibly helpful and responsive. I also looked at the reviews on their Facebook page.

Here, some of the troubleshooters received a very prompt response, while others did not. Thus, it appears that the support is a little erratic. Since the support is obviously active at times, I advise you to follow up with them if you do not hear back right away.

I have personally communicated with their help multiple times and have consistently received prompt responses; yet, I have also encountered instances where the service was rather slow.

Therefore, it appears that the assistance is a little erratic and might use some work, in my opinion.

Final judgment

Joining Univox Community is undoubtedly legitimate, and it provides legitimate ways to get paid.

Is it a time waster or is it worth joining? To provide you with a better understanding before you make your decision to join or not, let’s summarize the benefits and drawbacks of this review.

Advantages:

Optimal payout choices

Simple to use when traveling

Good quantity of surveys accessible, based on your country

Cons:

A somewhat elevated payout threshold (for specific membership tiers)

The website can be challenging to use at first. The support could be improved.

Getting paid can take a while.

With Univox Community, you may make additional money by completing surveys and engaging in a few other activities. The quality of opportunities varies greatly depending on the nation in which one resides.

In general, I would say that Univox surveys can be a choice if you enjoy taking paid surveys; nevertheless, I believe that it has not kept up with its competition. It was once a quite decent website, but it has gone out of favor and is no longer one of my top picks because there are so many other ways to make extra money.

Here you may view the top survey websites in your nation.

The options on this list will enable you to earn more quickly and with higher earning chances.
